Song/Grand Campaign

Song starts off in the Grand Campaign in her home fief of Song, and is in a fairly unenviable position, hemmed in from the east by Lu and Huaiyi, with her west formed by the border with Cai and the Zhou royal lands of Luo. It is worth noticing that although Yue controls Huaiyi, her control over Huaiyi is still weak, even as Song must vie with her larger neighbour Chu, who dominates Cai. Equally, Song, as part of the Central Plains nations, has an alliance with two states, Zhou and Qin, and having these allies provides Song with various opportunities.

Of these options, however, the best way forward for you could probably be an attack on Huaiyi in order to seize control access to Gongwu and her supply centre from Chu's ally, Yue.
