Temples form the nucleus of spirituality in Bronze Dawn, and like the vanilla game, host Religion Religion research, which is used to spread the reach of your Borders, and make your cities and settlements more effective, both tactics-wise and strategy-wise.

The Dian, being bearers of the Power of Bronze, have some Temnple-based perks. The first one is that in any game, the very first city to be held by a Dian player will already have a Temple in it. The second is that the Dian can receive Religion Religion upgrades for free, thus making their cities fairly tough to take on in the early game, as well as spreading their influence on the map further than most factions in the early game.
